Youth Leaders : Authentic leader has these traits.

Over the past few years, we South 8ion. Not saying tribes weren’t having their differences but had a common goal and we all know what goal that was (Independence). Once independence came we noticed a changed in our leaders, a change that cost us more than most. Moving forward in life it’s simply natural that the future leaders of our country will come from us as youths. With that in mind I would like to take a look at what kind of leaders we should aspire to be.

The need for language preservation in south Sudan.

South Sudan is the youngest nation in Africa and I am a proud citizen of this wonderful republic. It consists of sixty-four tribes all with their unique cultures and customs. some tribes have common cultural practices and have passed down their unique lifestyle through generations. One of the many defining mediums of south Sudanese tribes is their language. Language plays an important role in our daily life, though many are not well versed with English as a national language in the country. we use mother tongue to exchange information, trade goods, solve problems and many other things. of course, this is a broad topic to cover in one blog post. South Sudan has 60 languages most of which (I'm not sure) are still in use. Most spoken languages in the country are Nuer(Thok Nath), Dinka(Thong Jieng), zande, and bari (Kuku Mandari). Other languages have little to no trace of existence in the intellectual community.

From afar, I have come yet does my road shows me no end to my struggle. As the sun rises with the love to change hearts, so does my mind continue to ponder on an existence I didn’t wish to be a part of. From the high winds, I’ve sailed on the light of joy, till the flood showed no mercy to the believer.

The Easter weekend is upon us and with that spirit, I would once again like to talk to you about the importance of unity within country. "A house divided against itself cannot stand". In the spirit of love, progress and equal rights for all, I would like to share an an interview collected by amnesty international last year 2018.

My pleasant accidental Youth fellowship experience: A moral story that can change your perspective.

Last month, I attended a youth fellowship at nairobi baptist church, meant for motivating and encouraging youth to welcome unity. At first it was not my plan to attend, I was to meet with a group of peace makers to talk about peace building and learn how I can contribute and help bring that change. But I guess God had another lesson in store for me. This is why I truly believe that when God puts you on a path he guides you till you get to your destination.
